I would have absolutely moved on if you had not abused your position.

Call custard as much as you like but to proper fake reviews. Mine is genuine and I will keep pushing that if challenged.

Its a 911 forum and I own several 911's but this thread is about porsche garage reviews. Or is this thread restricted to 911 purchases only?!

HSC911, pass the pop corn

Your original account, all the posts are here and on this thread.
Your 2nd account, where you were in violation of site rules, was moderated (remember those T&C's when you signed up).
For your reference http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=17867

Of course if you and the agents of the Modern Classic Car company want to keep harassing myself and my family personally outside of this internet forum, what are you looking to achieve through this intimidation? to shut down these reviews ? because that then becomes a criminal Police matter based on those actions.

Since I'm now getting PM's from others members alerting me to your PM's you're sending them on your exact postings, I do have better things to be doing, including reporting all of the actions.

Wow,

Desperation and crossing the line big style, methinks Perlnecklace is protesting too much Floor

Gives even more motivation to spread the word on the dodgy dealings which are the actual subject of this thread.

From an SEO point of view I think some links to their sales would work very nicely to get traffic to this thread and buyers can then at least do their own due diligence, ask the “right” questions and even help them when / if they eventually fall foul of these crooks.

Bully boy tactics from keyboard warrior crooks .......I’m up for, it works both ways #exposethecrooks

Had to have a look at the website, sent me cross eyed with background. I'm cool for PM's as well moving forward. The stench of fish appears to be coming from a certain dealership north of the border. Dont know

Errr the chap owns the site so just as we line up to enter the disco the bouncer/owner says ”sorry m8 your not getting in” or “ right m8 pick a window your leaving”..... the mgmt reserve the right blah blah blah.

The web is full of good and the not so good and anyone or any site owner who takes the time to amplify the good and inform about the not so good is fine with me👍

Keep up the good work 911UK Admin

Yeah PM'd me too, WTF?

Clearly he has an axe to grind, otherwise he wouldn't be behaving like this.

With certain users "buying" (well, providing feedback on) several cars. Seems legit.

I’ve come across this place before a few times when trying to find something different and I’m always amazed at the cleanliness of the stuff they’re selling, the ones I looked at all seem to be 1 owner with low miles and tons of Provenance ?

Where they get the cars from I don’t know but I’ve often wished I knew, earlier on this year I contacted them and due to the distances involved wanted to make it worth my while, I offered what I thought the car was worth “not a Porsche” by the way, and I was point blank refused ! Naturally I walked away but kept nipping back as you do. The price seemed to be creeping down when lo and behold BINGO ! It hit the magic number !

Now you would think some one would have thought, let’s phone that chap who offered this much. Obviously they’d have saved my details ? He Was going to get 1 Way car hire, pay cash and drive it away ! Nope...... seems they spend their time arguing on the internet instead of actually concentrating on their business, maybe they don’t want to sell cars and become what they’re portraying themselves as.

What’s wrong with people and why can’t people just be honest ? Maybe we should all go back to buying private, after all it’s companies like second hand car dealerships that frightened everyone off private sellers because you couldn’t trust them or they offered no remit !

Seems like some of these companies are only kidding themselves thanks to great forms of media like 911 U.K.

These gents occasionally sell BMW 3-Series which is where I came across them.

The Gents in Question are Stephen Boag and Mark Heron from a company that used to trade but got into financial difficulties which was called "Buchanon Motors" and their subsequent company which was called "The Throttle Shop" and they also later traded as "The Modern Classic Car Co." and I believe now "Strathclyde Cars" or something to that effect.

They are on the e30zone.co.uk forum and their user name is: thesharkfactor

They sold me an e46 318Ci with a failed head gasket many many years ago. I then sabotaged one of their auctions on eBay in some sort of childish form of retribution. I will admit to being younger and more foolish then than I am now.

Original e46 related content is here for anyone who's interested:
http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=135190&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=mercedes+amg+c36+ebay&start=0

But let's not dwell on the past, what happened later is far more interesting.

As far as I was concerned my childish retribution was the end of the issue... until I tried to sell a car on eBay a few years later.

I had already been the loser in the above interaction, so Imagine my surprise when 5 years... Yes 5 YEARS later, I went to list my Jaguar XJR on eBay and they basically sabotaged my auction in the same way I had done theirs and wasted my time. I guess I deserved it....

I didn't forsee it because it had been 5 Years!!! I guess some people struggle to let things go.

However, second time round I baited Stephen Boag hard, and he took the bait... hard.

In a text message exchange with him after the auction I basically engaged him in a chidish tit for tat argument in order to goad him into doing something stupid, and he surely did.

He actually confessed that he knowingly sold me the car with the failed head gasket, and that that particular one was his own personal car at the time. And I can PROVE it.

I will share three photographs below and everyone can decide for themselves what these people are like.

Number 1:

When Stephen Boag, formerly of the Buchanon Motor Company, and at the time of the Jaguar Sale, of Throttle Shop, admitted what they did to me.

Number 2:

When Stephen Boag, formerly of the Buchanon Motor Company, and at the time of the Jaguar Sale, of Throttle Shop, admitted that the car in question was his personal vehicle.

Number 3:

The search results from google when you search the phone number he text me off during the exchange. i.e. proof that the person who is texting is actually Stephen Boag.

I will sign off by saying that during the exchange I said several things which when taken out of context (i.e. fishing for a reaction from these gents) will appear to make me look like a bit of a d**k. I can live with that. There is no justification for what Stephen Boag said in the messages above.

Oh and one last thing, Stephen continued to threaten me and continued to harass me on eBay so I couldn't sell my car, and he also started texting me jibberish on my mobile constantly to the point where I couldn't use my phone. In the end I had to get the police involved to get him to stop. It appeared as if he had been drinking during these instances.

To the admin, I apologise for creating drama on the site, but this case speaks for itself. If I have broken any forum rules, please let me know.
