Coullstar, he is now buying a Ginetta to race.
Tough decision, with many potential options. The car came with 3 sets of Forged Motorsport wheels: one set of ATS DTC in 17x9 as per below in silver. Then 2 sets of Team Dynamics Pro Race in black 17x9 and 16x7.
I also started working on the car today, you can see the 16" wheels in black on the front in one of these pictures. I'm thinking of painting these in gold :?: There is also a 3kg per wheel weight saving between the two (19.8kg vs 16.7kg both including tyre). With fitting the 16's I can then also look at other arch options (the 16's sit in a further 30mm per side). The current arch extensions are 9cm but I do have another 2 sets which are narrower. Original wheel options will not work as the biggest set is a 15" (Alfaholics) and wont clear the calipers. Besides this, in terms of going back to original style, I'm considering removing all the undertray system (diffuser, front spoiler/splitter and rear wing). It would be a shame in some respects as it has been so well made including finding a solution to fit an original Radical diffuser, but ground clearance for a road car is a must. Currently 8cm but my drive way is pretty steep so there is contact.
Todays work included a slight arch modification for wheel clearance, then decided to remove some of the stickers. I left the door ones on for the time being as I'm not sure if I want to remove them :?:

Are you going to make it a little more stock-looking, such as with the old Dunlop-style alloys and bulged wings, rather than the extensions and wing it currently has?
