944 Electric seat adjustment fault

Hi,
I have a 1986 944 where the electric drivers seat does not go up and down.

When I press the buttons, the motors try and move, so it looks like there is power and the buttons work.

Seems like the seat adjuster is jammed.

Any ideas,

Ok, I did a search on the forum and read all the threads on potential seat issues.

Having a go at a fix tomorrow .

From what I've read it's probably the switches , but we shall see.
