I thought I should post up something about this event, it was in aid of the Air Ambulance that does such a good job on this coastline. The backdrop of Watergate Bay is stunning and it made for a great weekend.
The event is a new concept since the law was changed to allow motorsport events on closed public roads, something I didn't realise wasn't allowed. This is the second year for this event and hopefully a few more places will follow suit, the Isle of Wight is planning one for next year too.
There were only three Porsche's driving at the event but there were a few in the car park. 2 996's I didn't get pictures of were a SY Turbo and a Seal C4S.
I'll let the pictures do the talking, it was an eclectic mix
Some of the car park.
GTS looked good at the Watergate Hotel
Not the usual PCGB turn out but a very nice turbo all the same.
At least she was ok, I was at the bottom at the time and heard it announced over the speakers.
I was just up the hill from the Subaru estate when that rolled.....on the practice lap
It was a great event and I hope to have something to drive myself for 2020, I've been looking to do a few hillclimb events in something Porsche so need to get my finger out for next year. _________________ http://euroroadtripper.blogspot.co.uk/
