Hi all
Im considering putting my lovely 996 Turbo manual coupe up for sale.
I love the car but currently have other financial commitments and I'm looking to sell to take some money out the car.

Now after allot of sole searching and being a complete Porsche addict I've decided I can't be with output a 911 of sorts. However as the aim of the game is to release some money from the car I'd like to limit the budget of my next one somewhat.

After considering options, I've decided I'd like an early 996.1 manual coupe with aero. The idea is to get a sorted example and aim (if not already) to bring it very close to a mk1 gt3 from aesthetics and handling of course without the mezger and badge!

Details of what I'm looking for in a 996.1 C2 are below :

*996.1, C2, Coupe, Manual
*Aero kit
*FSH - fully sorted cherished example
*Mileage ideally under 80k but will consider mileage dependent on maintenance history

Highlights of my Turbo are below:

*Seal grey manual coupe
*Granite grey full leather interior with seal grey colour coded centre console tunnel, Ali pack and Bose
*73k with loads of work carried out in the last 2.5 years including new turbo chargers
*15-17k maintenance spent in 2.5 years so mechanically very very sorted now and in great condition also

I obviously have loads more information on the car but just wanted to just provide a summary at this stage. More can be provided on request.

Even if you're not interested in part-ex, I'd still be interested to hear from anyone that has a 996.1 C2 aero kit car in top condition that might consider selling soon.

Please do drop me a PM if you'd like any more questions or fancy a chat ..

All the best
Adam

BUMP - any 996.1 aero owners out there looking for a potential change ? :thumb:

Shame you're not after a top condition 4S - I'm currently having the 'do I change for a turbo" debate!

Unfortunately due to a number of reasons I'm specifically looking for an early 996.1 with aero.
Thanks anyway and good luck with the decision

Hi all

My lovely turbo is for sale:

Just wanted to resurrect this thread to again incase anyone was looking for a turbo and had a suitable part-ex.
I'm still interested in a 996.1 with aero as described in my opening post here but i'd also consider 996/997 with Hartech (or equivalent) engine rebuild.

Please shoot me a PM if you think you may have anything of interest.

I have a 996 c.2 but without aero kit.
9k spent in the last 3 years with all the critical bits sorted.
Quite a bit over your mileage - 144k.
I do fancy a turbo...

Thanks, but really looking for 996.1 with aero or a car that's had a Hartech rebuild.
Also I would probably be looking for something with lower mileage.
Thanks anyway

Adam

Cool, thanks and good luck with your search :)

Difficult time to sell in all honesty. Depends on how quick you want to release cash from the car. I'd be inclined to agree a SoR with a good indy specialist but of course you will take a hit on having the car prepared for them (such as front respray, sorting out the faulty drivers heated seat) and then the commission on sale taken by the specialist. Cost of borrowing cash is pretty low right now. I am sure that you considered taking out a personal loan for your needs rather than releasing car from an asset such as a car.

I have a 996.1 with aero kit and LSD, but I'm not currently in a position to trade up, which is a bummer because your turbo is the exact car I would like to trade up to.
