Reversing Lights and Parking Sensors Not Working

The black plastic part that sticks out of the top with the gear knob removed is what pushes down and releases the lock mechanism .. foot on the brake / ign on .. knob off and you just press it down .

If the plastic black tab .. looks like a triangle is in the wrong place you wont get all gears as its jammed .

This is the part that sits under the top panel and at the base of the gear rod stick .. move it around until you can press it down .. its there to cover the hole when you move it into manual if that helps.

Trust me .. its this part as i did the same on Friday .. no drive !!

Post a picture of it if still stuck .

Thanks...yep just had to take apart a few times and move the plastic triangle to find the correct position until it finally went into all the gears.

It actually now seems to move smoother than before and having reversing lights and parking sensors is bonus :D
