Walked the dogs this morning plus a little DIY to keep the wife smiling then had the afternoon to myself , my C4 is a weekender so its all pleasure but even after 100 miles spent in the Yorkshire Dales this afternoon i could have just carried on , loved every bend , every straight & every gear change , a tip was a consideration for a short spell but so so glad i went 6 speed , the gearbox & gear change on this car is sublime .
Anyhow for those who know the area i went via Ingleton / Ribblehead viaduct up to Dent station (highest working station in England ) then headed home via Horton in Ribblesdale / Settle / Gisburn .
A great way to spend the afternoon & the car itself just amazes me how well they feel / drive for its 13yrs & 88k
In & out of the bends you just can't worry it , fantastic machine :worship:

+1. They really are addictive and always nice to see a positive review.

Cracking pictures lad! (to be read in a Wallace & Grommit accent).
Joking aside, down here on the South Coast you would quickly join the back of a convoy of cars, all trundling along at 40 mph. And all bunched up so you can't overtake. Or you might fancy a drive in the New Forest, which is lovely, but every single road is 40 mph limit. That's if you can bear the agony of miles of roadworks on the M27 to actually get there.

Enough negativity! Well done on a great car, great roads and great pictures. I am envious!

Awake at 5-30am , Saturday morning :?: sneaked out early for 90mins of deserted country roads around the Lancs / Yorks border (pics are Lothersdale near Skipton)

Excellent pics, great time to be out and about on the lanes, the most important bit, your enjoying the car.

Great to see, I've got out of the habit of early morning summer runs on clear roads, the cooler air making the engine even more sprightly :thumb:
