Hi, I'm just after some advice or experiences on fitting a magnetic sump plug ?
Is it worth it ? Will particles adhere to the plug and do they stay attracted to the unit whilst the engine is pumping the oil around the engine, there must be some advantage of trapping some foul particles on the magnet.
The filter can eliminate some particles, I'm not talking about fragments here as these will be either trapped by the filter or cause some catastrophic failure before it lands on a magnet.
