but, be careful who does it, as they need to understand what they see. We had a thread on here recently, guy got a bore score check, it came back pretty bad, he told the owner, the owner had no idea, guy walked away from the car, owner is rather upset I suspect. Turns out the Bore Scoring seen was bore scuffing, which is no problem at all and any engine should have some! Think someone bought the car cheaply, so owner screwed by a "specialist" who didn't know what they were doing....
Mind saying who you are using for the inspection? Someone will be able to say if they are good or bad!?!
I'm on 85,000 miles, 2007, C2S Cabrio. I love it, had it 4.5 years, put 40k miles on it. At some point in time it will without doubt need rebuilding, but at the moment, it's all fine and the bores were checked a few months ago and were very very clean.
Follow the rules, warm it up before you rag it, change the oil every year, treat it well, but use it, and they are awesome cars.
