Hi All,
Don't get to come on here as much these days, but I do still have my 996!

Need your help though (and my owners manual is in a box so I don't have access to it.

I've jsut done my pre-MOT check and of course, a feckin sidelight bulb is out. So I ordered what I thought was the right one and of course it wasn't (the bayonet is TOO offset).

I go to most of the configurators and they're wrong too.

Can anybody tell me what the right bulb is please?

MY00 996 with Litronics (it's a bulb with a small offset bayonet)

If memory serves they are H6W and Design911 state this as well.
 
Thanks guys - yeh, I'd got to that point: but need to ensure that bulb has an offset bayonet.

And of course, I'm in a part of the country where both Porsches and their parts aren't exactly common-place :D

I'd seen the Design911 ones too, but wasn't sure I liked them and again, I couldn't see the bayonet fitting.

This is all after ordering one set that were TOO offset :D

All for a bleddy MOT :D

for a 996.2 none Litronic

Side light can be referred to as BAX 9S, or BAU 15S

And they are not that common
