Hi all - I have also just bought a 964 - pics attached. This joins a few other aircooled 911s.

I haven't had much time to drive it yet but am planning to very soon. It's a 1991 C2 - completely standard. Thinking currently about suspension and cup 1 wheels.

Welcome. :thumb:

Looks super clean and loving the D90's. A subtle drop and the those rims will look :bandit:

Seems to me there is a lot of sensible people around here nowadays :puh:

Thanks all

Edging closer to going for cup 1s. Can I ask what the right sizes are for a 91 my car as the information available is confusing.

There are 2 sets I am looking at currently - both 17 inch. one is a 7 and 9 set - with offsets of 55, the other is a 7 and 8 set with offsets of 55 and 52. Would they both fit? Is one better than the other? Is the 7 and 9 set worth paying extra for? I would be really grateful for some advice.

UK 964 C2 Cup I sizes were:

7.0j x 17" ET55 Fronts
8.0j x 17" ET52 Rears.

964RS ran 8.0j Fronts & 9.5j Rears IIRC.

Lovely looking car Vimal. This list shows size and offsets of most Porsche wheels. Rep cup 1s also available and offsets are slightly better on these F7.5 ET52 R9 ET 47 fill the arches better than the standard 55 offsets.

Great looking car, nice to see the D90 wheels and OE flag mirrors.

Looking great :thumb:

How's yours coming along with the rebuild :dont know:

Looks great, it is rare to see the flag and d90 combo, I was always in the boat of changing to cups but decided to stay with the factory setup and since then, I'm always looking out for 964's which have retained the wheels and mirrors.
