If you Must have a 911 and it's a daily, you can't go far wrong with 991.2 such as this. https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en_GB/911-Carrera-S-80189
A 991.1 will make a better sound and save you 10k plus dependant on miles and kit. 991.2 has newer tech and more torque low down.
So much choice. Don't rule out a not S as your first especially 991.2. They are plenty fast and still feel quite delicate compared to the 992.
Also a good indy will save some pounds on your budget.

Thanks that is a great looking car for sure.

I was leaning towards an OPC for the 2 year warranty, would I still get that at an Indy?

How does the S compare in terms of running costs like tax and mpg?
How much faster is it and I'm guessing the Insurance goes up.

I think I'd be happy with any 991 no matter if it's the .1 or the .2
I'm curious to understand how much they would depreciate as well over 3-4 years

I think I'm in love with this one

Goes to show that one... brand new that would've been about £88k, so now 3yrs old listed at £77k and the finance cost is higher on a used car than a new so the monthly payment on a new would hardly be much different. was my deciding factor when i was looking a few years ago.

No, you won't get the warranty from an indy.

A car bought from a decent Porsche Specialist would have a worthwhile warranty for at least 6 months and probably 12. If the car is standard after 90 days of ownership you could get a 111 point inspection done at an OPC and buy a Porsche warranty yourself.

Depreciation of 991 Carreras seems to be following the pattern of 996s and 997s previously in that they slow right down at 7 years old. I suspect that they will bottom out at 12. After that really good ones might even go back up slightly.

NB: Depreciation is normally judged by what comparable cars cost to buy over a period of time. The spread between trade value and retail price is often overlooked meaning that owners can be shocked at how much their car has fallen in value especially if they have bought from an OPC and then try to trade it back.

OP if you do not need the rear seats and £50k-60k budget I would maybe also consider throwing a 2015 R8 V10 Plus into the equation. Very special sports car for that sort of budget in comparison to a 991 in todays 911 market.

also if no rear seats round 50-60k
Cayman/Boxster
Merc AMG GT
