Hi, I have a MOST unit, which is used to retain the Bose system when swapping out the standard PCM 2 & 2.1 system on a 911/Boxster/Cayman for an aftermarket Head Unit.
Blurb from the website:
"This revolutionary MOST optical interface allows the removal of the PCM2 head unit and to fit any after market head unit and retain the BOSE amplifier. This interface can be programmed to retain the factory steering wheel controls for Alpine or Kenwood units.
No codeing needed
NOTE: Other components in the factory system, such as a CD changer, satellite radio, telephone module, DVD player, or any other factory component in the M.O.S.T loop, will not function after the installation.
This product is compatible for -
Cayman 2005 - 2011
997 2005 - 2011
Boxster 2005 - 2011"

I have to admit that I haven't had this unit running, but I got it from a fellow forum member who removed it from his BOSE car when I purchased his old head unit (my car is non BOSE so I didnt need this bit) It was working in his car so I cant see why it would have stopped
As you can see its used as you can see and it isn't a complete kit.
You may need to purchase a MOST extension cable depending on the length of your current cable (and the type of head unit you are going to install) they are about £12 on ebay:

You also may need an ariel adapter to convert the porsche connector to a standard type (again, depending on what is required for the Head unit you are fitting) £3 on ebay:

And a mini usb to female USB lead, £2.50 from ebay:

Will include a stash of new scotch locks and a set of instructions from the manufacturor. They are £280 to buy new, looking for £100 posted, any questions drop me a pm :thumb:
