I was really looking forward to this.

This is both as embarrassing as it is stupid.

But I made it to well within 10 miles, according to the Google maps navigation on my phone. It was shortly after this that that Google maps navigation had a complete meltdown and forgot where I was and what roads where (at one point it had me driving through woods)
Anyway after half an hour of driving around lost I gave up and found a sign post for Tunbridge Wells and headed that way.

On the plus side the old girl had a good run out as it barely moved since I accidently bought a Boxster on Ebay last month

Breaking news from Precision, although in fairness they told me this yesterday and I just realised I hadn’t posted it.

Our hosts PRECISION PORSCHE would like to offer a free vehicle detail two stage machine polish and wax treatment in a raffle draw. To enter the draw they will require a contact detail form to be filled in on the day. Which can be found on the detailing display table inside the work shop. Once they have all the contact detail forms from Saturday the luck winner will be pulled out the hat on Monday. The detail / valet retails at £850.00

Martin the Precision Porsche detailer is on hand on the day to answer any questions regarding details and paint condition. He has 20 years detailing a wide array of vehicles. His extensive background includes: Head Detailer for McLaren Automotive, Previous winner of Rolls-Royce and Mercedes Benz National Concours, worked on Ayrton Senna’s Renault JPS F1 car and 6 magazine featured vehicles.

Has the Lucky Winner of the Prize Draw been pulled out of the hat yet and if so who is it Question

I wondered why he'd took a photo of my windscreen, I then realised it's probably because the stormtrooper looks like he's having a drink Floor

A day I really enjoyed. It was good to catch up with you all and meet some new members.
A genuinely big thanks to precision for identifying a leaking transfer case. Now with my Indy being fixed before my Terry inspired evo triangle trip this week.
Looking forward to the next event I can make.
Forgot Terry had written my name on the rear side window....had lots of shout outs from various people whilst travelling at speed (5 mph) around the m25 Very Happy

Blue 997 with big wing does belong to Phil997.

Purple 991GT3RS belongs to Tom Carr.

I note that the person that took the official photographs was careful not to include any of my filthy beast. In fairness, as per my windscreen disclaimer on the day, it had just got back from a c900 mile trip to North Wales. Very Happy

Have fun Jonny. thumbsup

Enjoy the bendy stuff but slow right down on the boring straight bits and the 'average speed' cameras won't be a problem.

I picked 'Red' up this afternoon and the results that Martin Pennington achieved on my 13 year old/75k mile car are amazing.

Big thanks to Jonny, Peter, Andy and the team for putting up such an incredible prize.
