Speedster Humps - Completed

I'm usually dead against non-genuine, add-on body parts but that looks really, really good. Especially on a black car.

The fact you've made it yourself must feel good.
Very smart. Well done. 8)

Those look amazing! Great work there... beyond impressed.

Thank you so much guys, honestly, I really appreciate your kind comments.

Nearly finished, few days away but mostly sprayed now.

I can't take all the credit. I worked with a fabricator to get this done too.

It will look awesome though

I'll upload some pics later as cannot do from my phone again due to image size.

Thanks again

Vinny

Excellent work. Glad the community thinks so too.
I am certain you could take them to market - a stall at the large porsche meets?

Some pics of this evenings prep

Hi all,

Right. All done for now.

I still have a detail to finish that will really enhance the look but I don't have the time right now.

But the centre bar is sprayed now, so ready to fit. Just have to find somewhere to go now

Regards

Vinny

Looking good. 8)

So is that part above a matt black contrasting part?
Will this all move at the touch of a button like the standard stuff or will you have to lift it on and off?
Oh and by centre bar do you mean a brake light part between the humps? If so that's brilliant attention to detail.

I don't have a cab so excuse the daft questions, but it's a very interesting project and definitely one of the best home mods I've seen on here. Top marks. :thumb:

Hi Marky,

Thank you very much. I always want to stress that I've been involved through the process but I've worked with a fibreglass fabricator also.

The centre bar is the Matt Black part, and it is contrasting.

Here it is put together but not bolted.

No electrics, will be fitted manually, like the originals.

Speedsters always looked greats but were never practical lol.

I'll stop these projects one day and just live life.

Thanks again

Can't wait to see that fitted

Well, it's all dressed up but nowhere to go lol.

Will definitely be at Ace end of the month.

It looks the absolute bollocks - you realise that there will be loads of us wanting to buy one of these now?

I agree! One of them would be a great look for my cab!
