I viewed this C2 today, the dealer suggested it was well known ‘in the community’. Does anyone know it?
Many thanks,

I know it!
Try forum member Jcx. Joe owned the car for a number of years. He’s a very approachable chap and I’m sure he wouldn’t mind helping you with any questions you might have.

I don’t know it, but it looks amazing and 911Virgin is one of the handful of places i’d genuinely trust!
If it was a Carrera 4 I’d be having it myself. _________________ 991.1 GTS

Hi Guys,
Yes indeed it was my car. I owned it between 2013 and 2015 and enjoyed probably 5k miles over that period. It won the PCGB R24 Show and shine in either 2014 or 2015 and was cherished as my 1st air-cooled and 5th porsche.
It was truly immacculate when i sold it privately. As the mileage has barely increased i suspect it hasnt seen much use since and is likely still stunning.
911V only deal with the best cars. My current car, a 997 Gen2 Turbo was sold by 911V in late 2014. Again it is a peach and has been faultless in my ownership between 2015 and 2019.
My 11 year old still misses it and wishes we still had it.
There is also a massive ring file which helps to show the car's amazing history.
Good luck!
Joe

Thanks for the information, this would be my first Porsche and one I would like to keep, so insight like this is great.
I have been to three Porsche specialist dealers in the past week to look at 964s and 911 Virgins kicks the others into the long grass in my opinion.

I looked for a long time and this was better than any others i saw. I was all set to have 911V sell it for me nearly 4 years ago when a local'ish car fan tapped me on the shoulder and a deal was done privately. It really is stunning. I had the engine compression tested as so many people waffled on about engine rebuilds and my compression results were outstanding. the report will be in the file. good luck.

I'd second all of the above, bought my 964 unseen from 911V, excellent car. Sold a few years ago. Bought a 997 from Maundrells recently and exactly the same experience. When I am ready to change it will be either with 911V or Maundrells. Hope you enjoy.

I test drove a car at Maundrells 4 or so years ago - very nice people - very nice car. My only criticism? At the time their PX values were poor but their car was well priced so the 'loss' on the px was in part offset by the cheaper price of the newer car.
