It's a Rennlist thread about a guy "renovating" that vehicle. I admire his ambition but it does appear to be a lost cause. I think yes he's going to make it an RS Replica........or similar, I imagine he's very wealthy

He does mention accident repair, just in a Boris type way...

This is NOT an accident damaged homage / replica but a well tastefully updated HPI clear investment to you can see, feel, touch, hear, smell and drive.
