Priceless!

I did a loop last 24hrs of Nottingham, Cambridge, Oxford, Somerset and back to Notts... blend of country roads and motorway. Loved every mile.

There are a number of noticeable refinements, internal acoustics definitely better... and fuel tank range is extra 50 miles which was a nice surprise. The performance is simply ballistic! I've now set two speed alarms, as you seriously wouldn't know you're at double the motorway limit.

It's Silverstone Friday Morning!!! 😁

How do you order a brochure, I can't see anything on the website for ordering brochures
 
Some seriously nice looking 992s in here.

For those who have come from a 991.2 GTS, what do you think of the noise inside the car while driving? Is the exhaust note better than the GTS? I note you have particulate filters on the 992 v the 991.2? Do you think it is loader/better?

Annoyingly I think the non-sports exhaust looks better, but I'm not sure it will sound remotely 911 without the sports version.

I'm struggling a bit with my 991.2 GTS. The car is fantastic but it's same dam quiet!

Ordered it from the States, seems none in the UK dealer network.

It's a different type of sound completely to the 991. It's a lower octave flat 6 warble type sound, than a pops and cackles sound. Hard to explain, needs to be experienced in person.
 
Car has arrived at Emden port but requires some quality control checks - does any one know what this is about? The dealer said it might take another 4-6 weeks for delivery? How can this be possible?
 
Standard PDI. Took about 3w for mine from Emden. They are always cautious with handover date estimates, I wouldn't be concerned.

Possibly dealer not telling you (or knowing) about a small issue? I have a natural distrust of sales people, so I might be wrong! My dealer was not forth coming with detailed info as apposed to 6appeal's being super helpful.

Quality control sounds like a fault/damage? Might just be a minor mark and they are being cautious.

Hope it get resolved fast for you.

Mine is similarly delayed, completed but still at the factory awaiting quality checks. At least they've not dinged your car, it seems everyone is affected.
 
Anyone else noticed the steering on full lock jumping has been designed out on the 992?
 
300miles added today for work commute... couldn't resist going via Derwent Valley and Snake Pass... Sport mode with the windows down, epic fun!
