Just another thought - what do people do come MOT time? Does removal of a vehicle safety system deem it an instant fail?

Ian

I had to put airbag wheel back on for MOT as he failed it ,even tho no airbag fault lights , 10 min job to swop over

Thanks - how did you make the wiring quick changeover as most write ups suggest 'harvesting' the horn wire from the clock spring to get the loom plug? Airbag plug looks like you can just shove the resistor in the female connector on the car loom.

Hello Ian

I put the clock spring back on to get horn working and left the air bag resisterd still , so for Mot purpose horn works and airbag lights function as it should
