Been brave/stupid, bought a unichip carplay kit and installed myself !

Definitely recommend and give any advice if your interested.

My understanding from doing a lot of research prior to getting mine fitted is that the Carplay upgrade only works for PCM 3.1 onwards and is not compatible with PCM 3.0.
 
Awesome, well done! Planning on doing this to my 981 cayman as it has the same PCM.

My PCM looks the same as the model (and same Cayenne dash) as the OP's images.. What's the diff between 3.0 and 3.1?
 
Interested in this for my 2012 panamera, do you have the links for purchasing the system please?
 
Pcm 3 and pcm 3.1 are not comparable, different hardware infrastructure
