Hi, has any body had the same problem as me with the window felt on the quarter lights disappearing gradually?
Any body changed those rubbers for new? Or had the felt re done?
Was wondering if it's a difficult job to change them .
Many thanks for your time
Regards :D

I had the same problem on my rear drivers side
Window felt had worn away making it look unsightly
I went to opc Solihull the only way they could do it was to
Replace the window, I think it cost about £ 500 quid

Bal

Thanks guys for your replies , yes it looks unsightly when there is no marks anywhere else, I'm going to try to get them re coated, I'll let you know how I get on as 1k is steep to replace perfect windows

You can just change the rubber, had mine done a couple of months ago. Cost was about £25 per side plus labour. Looks a lot better now. The felt is there to stop any squeaking I think. I understand that the originals were bonded, takes a bit of effort to get them off.

I can confirm it's the two parts numbered 2a and 2b in Demort's link.
