I bought the car with these on:

I took them off to fit some 18" wheels, had them fully refurbished by Chris at Exel, and they've sat in my garage (still packaged up) ever since.

They've got a full set of N rated Michelins, with ~2,000 miles on them.

I believe that these are some of (if not the lightest) factory wheel for the 996.

Who'll give me £700 for them?

I had a set of these on my 911 when I bought it too.

They are great wheels, really light. They fit nicely on my 964 and it handles and looks great with them. (My current signature pic shows them on my 964, though in years from now I will have changed it)

Being refurbished by Chris at Exel means they will be perfect. These are a bargain for someone.

I keep getting PM's offering me ~50% of the asking price for these.

To save some time, let me be clear: these are not leaving for less than the asking price.

It's a £600 set of tyres on wheels that have not come out of the packaging following a £400 refurb.

These wheels will go on 993, 964 and 996, they're the lightest wheel Porsche (BBS) make and their in perfect condition- even the centre caps were painted to match the wheels during the refurb.

They're worth £700 all day long, and therefore I will not sell them for less.

What type of Michelin tyre is on them and how old are the tyres?
