Well 1 month into ownership and it's looking a lot better.

Wheels refurbished
Front end painted (bonnet, bumper, wings)
Few new trims replaced
Fully machine polished and waxed.

Time now to get a few interior bits done on it.

Was going to ask the same question. I eventually need to get my front end resprayed. What's the going rate please?

Looking very sharp, congratulations!

I'll be getting the front of mine done next year but I've just had the front arches, the rear quarters, drivers door, both sills and rear bumper painted, it cost double what I thought it would but the work was impeccable. Rear windows removed, the door handle removed, drivers window seals removed, wheel arch liners removed, gutters removed etc. I also had the wheel arch flanges armour fended to help prevent the usual road rash.

Sounds like a thorough job there - did you go to Tyrone or elsewhere?
Think pics may be needed too :hand:

Where is Tyrone's company based now? Is this the guy who was in reading? I moved away for a few years, came back and they had moved.

I used Specialised Paintwork in Reading, they do a lot of high end work and are situated just behind Porsches headquarters. Here's a couple of photos they took during the work.

That's the chap. He did some work including spray and machine polish ages ago when they were based near Macro off Basingstoke road. Did some great work, but came back to reading from london and he had moved. Couldn't remember the company name. Nice one.

I had it done at my friends bodyshop, you would probably be looking at £1200 for the front end. That's fully stripped down and done properly. I used to be a painter at a Porsche bodyshop so I've got a keen eye and this job was faultless.

Looks incredible, I also admire a man that has the balls to buy a black car.

Looks without a doubt the best, but so difficult to keep looking tip top.

used both Specialized and Auto Riviera, as someone said Ty's moved (I haven't been to the new premises) - but I'd have no hesitation recommending both for body work.

But I wouldn't use Specialized to paint my wheels - but that was probably my bad and I know better now to use a specialised (no pun intended) wheel resto. company in the future.

But FYI AutoRiviera they are based in Wallingford now detais @ https://www.rivieraautobody.co.uk/

To be fair it spends most of its time under a cover in the garage. I spend most of my time in my van for work and if not then I drive the family wagon (Cayenne...in white)
