ah it's the elusive VERY RARE c4s model...looks decent enough on the pictures, gotta love that license plate too :D

Price looks about right for the mileage, and nice looking car. Shame they fitted a ceramic bearing...
Would definitely look at this if in the market for a higher mileage 4s though a boroscope would be a must !
 
I paid less than that for a manual C4S last month, with almost everything done except a new pair of exhaust boxes needed. Under 100K miles.

But I would say I got lucky, and the private seller was incentivised to sell. When my Indy did the PPI they valued the car at 18-19K, so I guess 17K from a dealer could be the right money if the car needs some work (which I'm sure it will) given the mileage.

Ad doesn't say anything about hard brake lines being replaced for example. That can get pricey. The car has PSE - that will no doubt be knackered by now, so that's a fortune or a third party switchable replacement.

Maybe this is a rare case where the dealer has got the price about right? :D
 
Motor Hub have a bit of a 'reputation' on various forums.

Now that is forum speak to be fair, and if you listened to the forums the 996 engine failure rate is about 90%!
