The Silver Bullet has arrived!!! Love it! So happy with the spec, and thank god the wood trim looks amazing! Beautiful contrast of finish and tone / texture. Absolutely chuffed to bits. Can't wait to collect it.

Hey, i noticed today that the 992 comes with heated seats as standard, didn't realise that was the spec, so a pleasant included surprise.

I still don't like the piano black plastic trim around the gear stick, hopefully that will become an option to change on the configurator soon. A dealer fit replacement part, as it looks like it's a simple click in component... suppose i could get it covered with something, Porsche dealer might nip down Halfords for a bit of carbon fibre ;)

(Was funny, literally every single 992 at the dealer today had the carbon fibre trim, all 7 of them, 4 customer orders and 3 demonstrators.)

It does seem like a large blanking plate.
 
Epic, received a phone call from vodaphone tracking today to check I was ok as the device had activated as a suspected theft. Means they've set the car up then!!!

Collecting midday tomorrow. :worship:

Anyone got a car going through build at the end of the month? I'm on the factory tour with a mate so would be fun to keep an eye out for specific cars.

Awesome how it shows exactly the right spec as my car, even down to the choice of rear badge, black sports zorst and the painted wheel centre caps. Excellent attention to detail. Perfect.

Ok, definitely biased, but what an amazing car!!! The sound is addictive, just the right tone, a beautiful flat 6 warble without being max-power. So chuffed, a wonderful experience.
