Cabriolet heater question

When I drive with the roof up I have the heater set to Auto, 22 degs C and the little snowflake lights up, which I assume is the AC climate control. However for driving with the roof down and I want some heat should I set it to manuell?
 
Depends on outside temperature.

If you want heat, just turn up the temp, regardless of manuel or auto.
 
I have my aircon on when I have the top down on holiday. I know I'll never cool the world but it does cool my feet down.
