Squeal / screech after fitting spacers

Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions so far again. Truly a very helpful bunch on here.

Wished I'b binned mine instead of fitting new ones. Every week I slice the back of my hand open when washing the insides of my alloys.

I suppose I'm coming to this thread late, but in my experience sudden screeching noises are usually small stones caught between the brake shields and brake discs. Although a car does make a terrible racket if you drive over a branch and that gets stuck. Even a little one.

As you might surmise, I live down the end of a gravel road in the country. Sticks, stones, potholes, mud and dust are a part of my motoring life.
