Thank you all for your prompt replies and my apologies to Phil 997 for accidentally chasing a name so close to his.
I note NineExcellence and PorscheTorque were recommended more than once. Anyone heard about Precision please? (further down South)

Again thank you. Phil

Precision Porsche are very well regarded on here by many. Friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Had you asked of Indys south of London, I would have pointed you in their direction.

As it happens Precision Porsche are holding a Cars and Coffee event on Saturday 6th April, you could pop along and check them out for yourself.

welcome Phil , I have to say I was confused at first and thought I was losing my marbles , nothing wrong with the username but would hate you to get abuse aimed at me (and I do get some stick on here lol) and never post again  hope admin manage to sort you out with a decent user name

maybe "Phil with a 997 but not Phil 997 or even Phil997 or even 997Phil"

its a bit long winded but works ok :floor: :floor:

let us know what user name you go for mate :thumb: :thumb:

You could always change your user name to 'Phil Who Has Not Seen His 997 For Some Time Now'
:)

Welcome to here and another recommendation for Sid at Porsche Torque. He's based in Uxbridge. :thumb:

Only negative here (based on experience) is that Sid is often really busy, so you might have to wait a while. I guess there is always a price to pay for quality work somewhere along the line.

:thumb: Precision Porsche are a great outfit. I can't recommend them enough.

Check out Precision Porsche web site it has a link to the Cars and coffee video last year. What a great way to spend a morning. Good sausage rolls :thumb:

Yeah. Come to the Precision Porsche coffee morning. I use 9e and travel 47 miles each way for the privilege!!! Sid at Torque I n Uxbridge is good too and a car fanatic

I think old Phil should post some pictures of himself at Dinslaken last year.

This would convince new Phil to change his name quickly.

Lederhosen.... Never a good look....

Porticraft in North West London always looked after my old 996 a few years back. Could try them

I'm not sure the forum can handle another Phil 997. As it is, I'm already maxed out (haha) on the mod fund with the Commander-in-Chief Allied Forces.

Can we have a London Phil or some such? :dont know:

I don't see the problem with the (new) Phil, there is a clear distinction. New Phil is requesting recommendations on where to go and spend his hard earned, whereas old Phil, sorry, original Phil mostly helps others spend their money...
