992 order... What are your specs?

Just been to see my dealer this AM as the 911 is in for a check up.
He said my car is built and has been told they are waiting for a tracker update(?) which should mean the car is due "sometime" in April. He says he got some conflicting info when he was at Reading last week, so it's seems it could be anytime between last week of March and last week of April. :dont know:

He said mine was still meant to be the first one off the boat to them. Another customer, who was also an early order, had his delayed as he went for the Arum wheels.

I saw a swatch of the Gentian Blue and am really happy with it. The colour really changes depending on the light.

Today, i'm banging around in a Panamera GTS.
Blimey it's BIG !
 
I bet Gentian will be stunning on the 992.

I sat in a 992 for first time today. The door handles inside and out are pretty sleek and funky. The gearstick is expectedly odd. The controls all very tactile, start key far more minimalist.

Dash & dials a step forward for sure.

Most importantly!... the handbrake is finally fixed!... pull toward you to engage, push away from you to release.

(Treads were Goodyear)

The CCM Spitfire is absolutely gorgeous and very cool. 8) :thumbs:

Did CCM deliver directly to your door?

Collected it yesterday and rode it home down through the Peaks. What a bike!!

Received my Silverstone invite for the 992 track day... starting 1st May.
 
Mines built and confirmed as on its way!!! 😁

Silverstone also booked. 👍

I haven't booked my silverstone yet. I still have the one from my 991 to use. May take a mate.
On an aside I had loads of fun today sorting Insurance for Friday.
No one lists the 992 version at the moment so I am having to talk to Insurance people to get confirmation they will offer a valid Insurance based on the 911 carrrera 4S. I know it is the 991 but admiral have assured me ( recorded call) that all is ok!
That's 40 minutes of my life I'm not getting back 😱

I would have to agree, from what i've seen Gentian Blue looks spot on, as the blue's have sometimes been too bright or too dark

Ha! Allegedly I'm already sorted for my Insurance and a quick changeover.

Seriously can't wait, and so pleased I picked the wood interior. I'm probably the youngest person in the country to select wood trim! 🤣
 
Noticed at tonight's event the 992 doesn't have headlight washers... much sleeker.

Question though? Does it have Apple play?? I love that, gutted if it doesn't. I couldn't see it in the cars when having a tinker.
