Shocking news. He seemed to have the best job in the world. I agree , he's lived an amazing life. A good bloke gone too soon
 
Just heard the sad news on breakfast tv.
So very sad, no age either!
I am sure he has had a very exciting career and has been at the sharp end of driver safety for a long time. He was getting ready for the new season so doing what he enjoyed so that a small comfort.

Thoughts with his family, friends and the wider F1 community who will all have known of him.

One of the pioneers who rose to a top position as part of Bernie's transformation of F1. Hugely popular in the F1 Circus - great technical skills combined with warm and friendly persona.
