Lsd not working

I have an OEM LSD in mine and it does work. I do benefit from it in road driving, but I am a total driving nerd and if I were more of a normal driver then it probably wouldn't be worth it.

Ned, something to consider is whether it always spins up the same wheel. If you can get the inside wheel to spin up when turning either way then yes, you LSD is dead. If it will only do it when turning one way, then you could have a suspension problem that's throwing your corner weights out, and allowing a merely tired rather than fully shagged diff to not work to its best.

Quick update. I jacked the car up and turned a wheel. Nothing happened at the other side. Same with turning the other wheel.
My understanding is with an lsd, they both spin in the same direction and opposite in an open diff. But mine does neither so I'm guessing it's shagged?

Yes, something is not right there.. My assumption would be it's worn but I'm no expert

i thought plated LSDs require load in order to work, so spinning wheels jacked up would look like no LSD since it's not locking.. ?

The plot thickens :dont know:

You may be right, sounds like it makes sense. But what's supposed to happen when it's jacked up then as I don't seem to have anything happening
