In the process of comming back to the fold with a 911 (1981) but it at some point has been stripped.

Is there a simple solution for a handbrake / can you get new parts or is it a case I will have to find the bits seperately?

To clarify there is no handbrake, cable, drums ... nothing

MAny thansk for any advice you can give

Im afraid google is your friend here .. if its the same as what im thinking then the parts are available but maybe more so from Porsche .. try euro car parts first then design 911 .

Its a lever system with a wedge . it pulls in wards to expand the shoes .. its also not very effective and fiddly to replace / setup .
