Hi All,

I've been collecting 6 month valuations from We Buy Any Car since I bought my 996 4 years ago - interesting fluctuations

2003 996 Tip - Full Porsche Service History

06 February 2015 104,500 £11,995.00
07 June 2015 107,000 £9,200.00
16 January 2016 109,000 £8,695.00
05 June 2016 110,000 £10,000.00
01 February 2017 113,000 £8,725.00
01 June 2017 115,000 £9,315.00
01 February 2018 117,000 £9,255.00
01 June 2018 118,000 £9,560.00
01 February 2019 120,000 £7,000.00

I have no intention of selling to WBAC - or selling at all - but its interesting to see how the price fluctuates..

Greg

wibbaboo, I'll bid £7,001

Do you use the same IP address when you do the valuations :?:

As this will affect what they give you :bandit:

I also have been doing the same on a near monthly timescale since I bought my car for £50k in May 2017 from a OPC, I was just curious

Hi Swampy - do your quotes represent your current mileage or do you stick to a same mileage figure for every quote ?

The table looks to show a 10% ish depreciation per year +/- 15% depending on the season.

Mine has dropped 20%ish this year compared with last - maybe because I hit 120K miles?? or it recognises my IP Address??

Hi, yes I stick the true mileage in, but I cant see that making to much of a difference as it was on 55300 when I got it and currently on 58800 now.

...better than the the £10 they offered me for my 56k miles immaculate 1995 mercedes sl !

£34,000 for my 996 GT3!! 😂😂😂😘😂

Really? How much difference does it make?

Yep, all the travel and Insurance comparison sites do it too.
Keep logging in or going on day after day and you're price will only go up.
