It's not the same car. The eBay Cat D car is a 52 plate and the BCA one is on an 02. Also the BCA car has 35k (not 43k) and the BCA car is HPI clear too I believe. And the Cat D one isn't a Clubsport. They are both black though...

Yep I believe the BCA car is HPI clear....need deep pockets no doubt! What do people think it will achieve? I myself will be surprised if it finds a buyer through BCA....quite a specialist high risk car. Must be £80k+ at auction?

The BCA car was good enough to be up for sale at JZM and Portsmouth OPC.

I know the first owner, in fact, we spoke about it today.

I understand that they want £120k+ for it, that is a lot of money in today's MKT

- I would be a buyer at £80k Laughing

He who dares rodders!

It’s a buyers market for sure and if I had that sort of money spare I’d be all over it.....I agree if it’s good enough for an OPC to retail it must be pretty sorted, in fact I sat in it when down there en route to the PCGB Charity event.
I’d be very surprised if it goes over £100k, but bagging a car like that now in this climate and then sitting back until things improve could be savvy....GT2’s are the holy grail 996.

If I’m in I’ll login and report back but I want to go and see a 911 I can afford lol.

I’ve seen some silly prices achieved this week but for later stuff but still don’t think this will make £80k.

I don’t have this kind of money in cash but really would love a 996 gt2 and this might be the best chance in recent times(through an auction).

It hasn’t sold - third time in a row this car was scheduled to go through and was withdrawn from the auction. There is absolutely no way this car would have sold north of £100k in an auction. Look at the results achieved for GT2s in Europe recently. They tell me the BCA car is a £75k car including buyer’s premium on a really good day with the auctioneer “working” the Hall to the best of his ability. No one in their right mind would pay close to retail for a cat in a bag car. You cannot PPI, you can’t check for hidden crash damage, you cannot check rev ranges etc.

i think you can find out a lot by making a few well placed calls to dealers without asking them to contravene dpa, gdpr etc etc
