I contacted the seller, however, someone is having it inspected already.

As said above very sensibly priced compared to others.
 
Yes. Been in touch about this car. But looks like I might be one in a long queue. There is another silver 4s on Pistonheads for the same price but Cat D and 16 owners. Makes you wonder about the market and what that should be up at?

Is the PCGB one a cat car?

Original car in this post sold for £34k and the 4S "close to asking price" £52k


Both good quality ads, lots of descriptions, photos, I guess they provide a sensible guide where the mkt is at for 'honest cars' (i.e. still robust)

Great prices. Especially so for the 34k car which people were pointing out so many areas of concern. Both cars 150K miles too. And over Christmas! :bandit:
 
The 4S has gone now, I was next in the queue should anything fall through...can't see it happening though. Gutted :(
 
I think the 4s was good value. i saw it and spoke at length to the vendor.

so we now have a marker in the sand at 52k for a well maintained c4s. how much more is the same car but with sub 80k miles then?

It had patchy/missing chunks of service history didn't it? Would of thought £60-something with all the paperwork and stamps.

£70-80k privately would be my guess for an 80,000 mile car. £80-95k from a specialist given the ones 911V seem to turn over very quickly?

its a funny market...

i saw the 45k c4 at charles ivey the other day. very nice indeed. cosmetically a bit sad but nothing serious

mechanically very strong and very original and with the same owner for around 20 years. wearing brand new contis all round and even unused compressor and plastic gloves in the boot!

very complete paperwork too and slate grey much nicer in the flesh

I was looking at the ad a couple of days ago and thought it looked like a good buy. Great colour combo.

What needs sorting cosmetically?

a minor detail on the paint and 4 wheel refurb. if being fussy, a clean up inside but thats your lot

needs new bonnet struts and bottom cam covers replacing and the garage would do that as part of sale prep anyway

its got a really comprehensive paper trail supporting it and had a new clutch and flywheel not long ago and pads and discs are like new
