How do everyone. Merry xmas and happy new year!!

Not been on net for a while and forgpt my password so not been on here for a while, meanwhile i have been thoughly enjoying my boxster.

Had it coming up to a year now!!!!! Thats a long time for me, normally only keep a car a couple months.. but ive inly really had jap, and always wanted a porsche, and love it.. really do

I though about going back to jap but i couldnt part with it.. so improvement required!
Its a w reg 2000 2.7 boxster manual with 108k full porsche historh in black and good condition..

So questions. I really want a 996, but i cant stretch to one. So ill be staying boxster for a while till i can..

Now before i do anything to the 2.7, should i be thinking of going to a 3.2? Is there a big difference? Is it worth the hassle of selling and upgradng? Id like to knkw what people tbinkk, yes the 2.7 is bloody quick on the road and i already have an rx8 track car so no track work required.. but i know the 3.2 is quicker and better brakes, but how much better?

Stereo, its got a horrible aftermarket one, id like to move the heater controls to the lower section (is this easy to do?) And then fit a double din.. is there a decent stock looking stereo anyone can recomened , id like it to look stock double din but with blue tooth etc

Wheels
Id like to space them out, any recomendations where to get proper hubcentric ones?
Its also got 17s at the moment id like some turbo twist 18s eventually

Spoiler, id love a spoiler, skirts.. ive seen this spoiler on a youtube vid, anyone one know what it is?
https://youtu.be/f5HUQ3ntg_M

Centre console, / arm rest down the middle, mines all scratch, and top coats come off, are they all like this or can i find a good one??

Its has a toyo exhaust, sounds great, de snorkeled, Ä·nà± filter aparently, and some company tinung sticker inside so not sure what else could have been done.. ill get a pic maybe ypu can suggest what/who they are..

Intake mods for a 2.7. I seens some people doing this, buying it through one shops is expensive (throttle body mod?) Is there a cheaper way of doing this? Where to buy parts etc

Drivers window, im guessing the regulator ismknackered, its makes a noise and moves about 1mm but doesnt drop when opening door, i can push the window down that bit by hand to where it shoudl have dropped to. Also when jndoing the window it goes down far to far, and drops past the rubbers and then rattle in the door as goes down too far into the door, am i right in saying regulator? Easy enough to fix..
It does go up whe closing door fine

Im sure i got some other questions.. now ive had it a year got to know it, i know what i wamt to improve...
Sorry for all the questions
Many thanks merrry xmas happy new year!!!!.

Sorry for any spelling mistakes etc doing this post on a small tablet

Centre console, yes they all get worn even the 911s , best option is to either paint it body colour or wicked coatings in Poole Dorset do a soft touch finish that feels very similar to the OE one. this can be done to match your old one or can be done in any colour you like as its a final coating that goes over whatever base colour is done. personally I like them painted in gloss body colour , here a pic of my 911 with painted centre console.

you can also see I have added some alcantara and seatbelts as close a mach to body colour as I could find :thumb: :thumb:

Heres the tuners on the sticker , a call to them should tell you what was done and what else could be done :thumb: if you fit a bigger throttle body and plenum it will need a new remap and if your looking at induction kits any more than just a sports air filter ideally that will need the map tweaking ,so I would plan that group of mods together and a remap to bring it all together. Any further exhaust mods won't require changes to the map. :thumb: :thumb:

Spacers , lots of options but these guys do a great product thats properly hub centric.

Thanks guys/gals. Big help already.
Other planned mod is the 3 spoke steering wheel and get it alcentara covered..

So from what you guys say stick with the 2.7?

I'm on my phone but I'll have a look at all them links.
That blue interior and seat belts is cool, where did you get them!?!?!

A lot depends on the cost to change and whether spending that money on personalising your car would make you smile more. the seatbelts were £32 each to re thread in any colour from

http://www.fdts-seatbelts.co.uk

the paint colour centre console etc was Wicked coatings in Poole, Dorset. they do a post service.

Spacers on boxers I am not up to speed on sorry :thumb: :thumb:

Personally I would grab this genuine 986 aero wing as it comes with the delete panel for the pop up section and being OE will be a perfect fit

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283234482470

Good price even adding a re-paint.

Rose Passion want nearly £2800 for a new one!

agreed Chris I was a bit surprised to see one at that price :thumb:
