Does anyone have the torque settings for numbers 7,9,12,13 on the attached diagram?
Thanks in advance....[/img]

From Bentley manual:

7 - 17 ftlbs or 23 nm
9 - Doesn't say
12 - Diagonal brace to body M10 - 48 ftlbs or 65 nm
13 - Diagonal brace to rear cross member M12 - 82 ftlbs or 110 nm

With 9 I'd say take an educated guess based on the above.

Cheers

Thanks both. Found the manuals but as you say, 9 doesn't appear to be listed. Any suggestions?

Sorry for the late reply ..

Diagonal brace to body M 10x1.5 65 nm / 48 ftlb.

Diagonal brace to cross member M 12x1.5 110 nm / 81 ftlb

Diagonal arm to carrier side section ( collar nut ) M10x1.5 23 nm / 17 ftlb

Thats all that is listed , there is nothing for 9 but you would go with the bolt size for the torque .

Cheers demort. 9 and 12 are the same part number, so I guess the same torque value will be about right....

Yes they are the same.
9 is Cross member at front to carrier side section.
12 is diagonal brace to body.

Both 65Nm according to the workshop manual I have.

Thanks MC. Wish they'd use the same names in the manual as they do for parts!

The Knowledge Gruppe book (p121) also says 65 Nm, as MisterCorn pointed out.
