I installed it Saturday myself without a hitch. And if I can do it, believe me anyone can Smile

And then just for yucks, I captured some clips comparing the in-cabin sound of the Billy Boat vs. TopGear pipes...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkOwoBR5Ksw

However, that (iPhone 6) video struggles to capture the in-person reality of what they sound like.

Fitted the bypass and silencers today.

I've struggled to find a vacuum other than the hard pipe which goes to the brake servo which i'd rather not use.

Does anyone know where I can take a vacuum from on a 997.2 3.6 for the valves?

[quote="Geezer 911"]Hi all

My car already has a gundo hack. How much further improvement would there be to the sound if I install this silencer bypass to the car?

Cheers[/quot

Has anyone in this group done a Gundo and installed silencer bypass after?

Keen to hear feedback before I pull the trigger

Cheers

Assuming that PSE-on and Gundo are roughly similar (someone else would need to chime in and say 'yay' or 'nay' to that), here's a few tailpipe clips of the TG Bypass with my PSE setup.

It's a good combo in my personal opinion...

Recapping a question I had earlier.

Your site says...

The X-Pipe design of the silencer bypass optimizes flows and boosts power gains as well as providing a higher pitched racing sound. This lightweight silencer bypass saves weight on your vehicle as well as increasing the power delivery.

How were those power gains confirmed? Dyno test, drag strip... ?

Thanks.

Karl.

Very cool.

Separately, I came across this video from Fabspeed that shows how a X-pipe can help with scavenging. Since the TG design is (presumably) based on the same principles, this maybe of interest to some folks...
