Hi all.

I recently bought a 987 Cayman S in cobalt blue. After 2 weeks of playing with the car I've already decided that I love it, but I'll be modifying this car quite a bit as I plan to use it as a multi purpose car for track & touring Europe, and spirited drives in the U.K.

I will be logging the progress of the car on my YouTube channel should anybody wish to follow the project/subscribe to the channel. I'll also be posting every new video on this thread. Here is the first instalment - a Cheky kind of reveal video introducing the car.

I look forward to making many more videos on this delightful little motor.

Cheers

Satch.

Will watch this with great interest Satch, having recently moved on my 993, I'm missing my Porsche fix. Looked at a Cayman S project, engine rebuild to 3.9 etc, or, a 997.2 C2 Manual with a few nice options.

Need to work out what I want, a nice motor or a project. Budget would be circa £30k +/- £5k.

Anyway, good luck with your new project

Hi Al,

A project close to my wish list!

So, what mods are you planning?

I'm guessing the list is:

1. Suspension mods including lowering the ride height
2. Sports exhaust
3. Bucket seats and go-faster steering wheel
4. Two sets of track wheels and tyres
5. Remap
6. Improved air intake
7. Higher performance discs and pads

Am I close to your list?

Cheers, Keith

Plenum and GT3 TB to remove factory detune?

"Street/Track/Touring" isn't that specialising in everything except drift? haha

It's been a while since I updated on here, and I've published a few videos (ill post the links below)

For anybody who just wants to subscribe click here https://bit.ly/2Q4az35

My first job was to lower the car, and that video is here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-4hcGOrEfU

My second job was to change the wheels, and that video is here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Aw7plfmRpg

I have videos coming very soon which include

GT3 throttle body
IPD Plenum
Bucket Seats
Front LED spars
Front splitter
Remap

+ much more.

Cheers.
