I've just ordered a Rennline three piece pedal set with an extension piece for the throttle. Something to fit this winter.

Glass out respray courtesy of http://www.autobodytechnic.com who were kindly recommended by 911 Virgin. 80% of their work is trade through RSJ and 911V so figured they must be good

Can't wait to get back to UK to hopefully perhaps use her a bit more maybe next year as sadly only used her all of once in 2018 at VMAX. She flew though Very Happy

Replaced all of the exterior trim etc too hence must be the only 87,000 mile turbo in UK which looks almost concours. If anyones ever looking to buy a one owner 2007 manual 997 turbo in perfect condition let me know as I fancy a 720s one day. My 997 turbo has 9e 28 power pack so GT2 RS hybrid turbos etc and circa 800bhp on race fuel. 650bhp on V Power.

(Engine, turbos, exhaust etc were replaced by OPC Hatfield in 2014 at 60,000 miles under warranty which car has been under since new up to installing 9e stuff so has never wanted for anything. Thats when I also installed 9e power kit so in reality engine has only done 27,000 miles.)

Looks great.
Just needs the last piece - 4 X wheel centers.
Much less than a 9e kit 😁

kit, sounds good. Awaiting delivery of Fabspeed air induction kit. Hoping my
997.2 will howl again like my old 997.1 Driving

Are you getting the car remapped after fitting the fabspeed , I found it was ok but not perfect as the airflow was too high for the car to relearn the values. bloody sounds nice though Grin so if you weren't planning a remap try it and see how you get on but if you experience some rough running ETC then just bear in mind what you need to do to sort it . Thumb Thumb

Thanks Phil and sorry for late response, Mrs dragged me out to cinema!
Yes I'll see how it runs after fitting with a few miles for ECU to figure it out.
A remap could be on the cards, but looking forward to hearing the new sound!
Queen's a good movie imo Thumb

Paint is now curing for the next three months before she gets a full PPF. Will stick stock wheels back on and enter her into regional concours straight after detail and full ppf in March and let you have final verdict then. You'd never guess its an 87,000 mile car from outside or inside. Can't wait to take the car around Europe in next few years Very Happy

Looks fab!

I was also impressed with the work they did on my bumper repair and paint.

Just had the EurocupGT switchable exhaust mufflers fitted by The Porscheshop. Had the factory sports exhaust system originally but the change of rear bumper meant I had to get a system with a single tailpipe outlet each side. Ran with the gundo hack for a bit but fancied something a bit louder. In the end it was down to either the TopGear system or the Eurocup GT. Having read that the outlet diameter was a bit smaller on the TopGear mufflers (meaning that factory tips might be a bit too big to grip properly) I opted for the Eurocup option. All done in a day, have to say that service from the Porscheshop was exceptional.

The noise from these new mufflers is much more evident at the low end, very deep and meaningful, not like the raspiness of some systems and I have to say I prefer it to the factory system, more pleasant on the ear but still giving a great prescence. Didn't go for the 200 cell cats, not sure I really need to as loving it as it is. Would recommend!

I’ve bought a CTEK MXS 5.0 trickle charger today, and more importantly this DIY rebuild kit designed specifically for my 997.1 engine.
