Re listing my 996 as got messed about on Ebay (surprise surprise)
Bought the car last April from a guy who had owed it for 9 years.
In this time it was maintained to a very high level mechanically.
The biggest and most important job was an engine rebuild by Hartech back in 2013 after a cracked head. The engine was rebuilt with a recon head and modified intermediate shaft so no fears for its future reliability.
When the engine was refitted it also got a new clutch and flywheel and has since had an exhaust refresh with new cat and stock spec rear silencers.
I specifically bought this one as the main 996 issues have been sorted and therefore the car was a perfect base for a mild restoration.
Ah the bad news....well the paintwork is a little tired. Plenty of chips around the front, swirl marks in the paintwork and the front bumper has a ding and is a different shade of blue. Finally there is a minor rust scab on drivers door.
So, mechanically spot on and with a great interior, paint is a little tired.
