Brake pads warning message

John H said:
OK - where was that then? - were they authentic Porsche parts?

Brookspeed in Southhampton.

Pagid parts. For reference, Porsche don't make their own pads or discs. Depending on the year of manufacture, they will be Pagid, Sebro, etc.

FWIW one point worth mentioning regarding changing pads is that, very occasionally, you can get a duff sensor.

The sensor will flag up brake pad wear message on the dashboard, but you know for certain the pads are all good.

I had this on my car earlier this year; genuine Porsche sensor went faulty not long after I'd had all of the pads replaced, along with new sensors.
