I have just done the oil change on the 997.1 3.6
Surprisingly the Gold Plug MP10 did not fit. Thread and diameter were OK but the head was too big in diameter and did not fit into the recess to push up on the 'o' ring and seat, as pointed out earlier the hex head would of hung well below the sump. The aluminium plug (333330081) fitted perfectly and was virtually a replica of the Porsche original.
