lovely one at work and will get a pic

looking into them they are decent bits of kit and the engine mods with the X51 stuff is huge.

they were under 20k a few years ago!

Looks lovely !!

As with most 996's they're starting to get the recognition they deserve and they're great cars :D :thumb:

Not sure who's that is - hopefully it will be on the 40th AE registry, but haven't had chance to look just yet. All the info you need on these cars is here

Bought mine about 6 years ago not really appreciating the extra bells and whistles it actually had until I did a bit more research. We had 6 of them together last Sunday at the PCGB event at Lotherton Park. There were only 123 or 124 brought into the UK so not often you see them.
If you need any more info just let me know.

Cheers...Ian

I enjoyed mine for the couple of years I had it. Sold it to 911V early 2013 and they sold it once or twice after that.

The engine was the best bit. Suspension could feel a bit firm at times, but you felt connected to the road. I liked the looks, but not everyone shared that view.

Hi, everyone - that 911 40th is Nr. 0992. Not sure who the current owner is but glad to see her out and about. 911box last sold her according to our records. In fact, 911box Tweeted about the car in Aug 2016:

Can't wait to see the car so that we can make sure it's in the Registry. I'm going to shoot you a PM about the car, too - please check it when you have time. Many thanks. Ted

Your old 40th is happily living in Scotland now - Nr. 0795. Her owner is thrilled with her, too!
