Hi I'm part way down the line to purchasing a 997 Gen 2 cabriolet PDK from a private seller. I have commenced my due diligence on the car and the Experian Vehicle check results is stating that VIN was not supplied or is invalid. The current owner is sending me a copy of the V5 and has provided a full history of the car (where purchased from and service locations). Can anyone tell me where the VIN plate/numbers are located on the car so I can get him to send photos ?
I live in the North East and the car is located in London hence why I can't do these checks myself. I will be getting a full PPI done from one of the recommended specialists on this site which I assume will clear up any doubts. Has anyone got any recommendations as to which PPI specialist to use that are mobile and can go to the cars location ( Hendon, London, NW4)
Regards

Start with the one in the corner of the windscreen and compare with the one under the battery cover.

PM sent re PPI
