Alex, the north west TIPEC group are going to Germany in July.Do you not fancy that?

Question

I was thinking more of a blast down to St Tropez via Rout Napoleon for around 10 days, beach clubs by days, bar & clubs of St Tropez by night, maybe bob over to Nice Jazz Festival to see Massive Attack live, day out on my mates Beneteau yacht, visit one of mates vineyards, maybe a drive up round Verdon Gorge and if I get chance, over to Monaco for a few Sherbets with Albert........and if I've any spare time, flitter the rest of my holiday dosh on anything that looks remotely like fun.

That T8's a crafty chap. Now he's created a new thread about me thinking of going away in the 996 in July, I'm now going to have to do it!!!!!!! Laughing

And go and see Massive Attack as well Cool

I like a bit of Massive Attack as does T8. I've seen them maybe 7 times including twice at Glastonbury, had Mezzanine on full chat at the weekend.

Jackal's brother directed the video to the recent song "Come Near Me"

I also like St Tropez and lots of routes around that parts of France, there is talk of a French trip first two week of July, all date dependent though.

wack

After reading the above I just had to google them to see what the fuss was about.

Seeing that they were formed in 1988 I realised that (a) my entire music collection pre-dated them and (b) this is their 30th anniversary year so those that are fans will have a secondary reason to make the effort to attend their gigs this year.

Have fun Thumb

Are they the only band in the world that had to change their name because of the war on “Saddam”?!
Legendary sound masters. Is it a massive Porsche group attack??

I've booked my crossing to go down St Tropez but won't be making the Jazz festival. Crossing 19th July late on, arrive mid afternoon 20th, then set off back on 31st early doors and land back in Lancs around 1am. Driving down with my mate Dave and hopefully my lad and his mate are coming down for the last 7 days.

Fete de Belges will be on the 1st day (Saturday 21st) we're on the beach so all the beach clubs will be on fire!

Something like this:

Must say what an excellent gig last night, the venue was quite compact and you could get right up close. One of the best I've seen.
Currently nursing a hangover on the beach.
