Ooooh SCART 100 cell cats and back boxes. Can we have a video please - whether here or on exhaust thread?

Indeed, they look just about shot.

Have spoken to the Tech at RPM and he says they are structurally sound just a bit rusty. They haven't been shy about suggesting extra work so will take their word for it!

Yep I will post a video clip here next Thursday. This from Craig at RPM...

"Exhaust sounds amazing! Has a really nice pop to it."

Frothing at the mouth with excitement now

This is how they should look like, mine didnt seem that much worse than your rear ones, the worse ones wear nearest the tyres.

Cheap as chips to replace whilst the bumpers off ..... if its still off that is.

I will do it next spring, no rush. I don't want to risk not having the car ready for Silverstone next week.

Will get plenty of photos tomorrow at Silverstone. A few very quick ones I got at RPM today and one at the pub!

Just delighted with the car, looks new after a very thorough polish todat and drives superbly. The exhaust sounds superb, no intrusion on motorway at all but sounds incredible at higher revs.

Few other bits done over the last couple of weeks...

Rest of Bergville kit fitted (rear LEDs and interior panel)
New OEM tailpipe as the brackets knackered on the old ones
Geometry fettled and understeer seemingly dialed out
Strut brace fitted (fits under carpet easily)
Engine mounts done
Front scuttle paint protection replaced as had a big hole due to stone chip
Windsreen repaired due to above mentioned chip!

Full report on driving experience to follow but I can't recommend RPM highly enough for quality of work, communication and coordinating lots of different jobs and specialists. Craig Humphrey is a legend.

Hopefully see some of you over the weekend

I thought I knew the car but living in Scotland didn't think it was yours! I did say hello but didn't want to intrude whilst Craig was handing over. Lovely car.

Ha yep. I'm still mulling over your offer

Did you notice I went with your recommendation on the colour of the barrels?
