2008 Porsche 997 Carrera 2

PostPosted: Wed Jul 11, 2018 3:24 pm    Post subject: 911 997 Gen2 PDK Cabriolet. Reply with quote

Lovely car that looks and drives superb.
2008 with 82K (miles)

Its the much more desirable Gen2 model which has the newer DFI engine that has 40% fewer parts, no IMS bearing and is made from a much more bore scoring resilient alloy called Alusil over the old Gen1 cars.
Basically, it's pretty much bulletproof.

Specs are:
Midnight blue with a dark blue full leather interior.
7spd PDK gearbox
BOSE surround sound.
Heated Memory seats.
Multifunction S/Wheel.
Auto Dimming mirrors (all 3).
Auto wipers.
Touch screen navigation with Bluetooth, upgraded to the latest maps and software two months ago by Porsche Centre Portsmouth.
Rear Park Assist.
19" Sport Design wheels.
Rare clear rear LED light upgrade (cost £2,200 new).
Dynamic Cornering bi-xenon headlights.
Optional Wind Deflector.
PORSCHE script badging.
Front discs and pads changed 3 months ago.
Full OPC Service history.
Milltek crossover pipes with PCW gundo rear box (sounds lovely) - when the exhaust was being fitted I had all 6 spark plugs and coil packs replaced at the same time. This does not need to be done for another 50K miles now.

It's a great car, look and drives brilliantly.
The only reason I’m selling it is that I’ve just received some inheritance and I’m treating myself to a newer car.
£30,995 (private plate not included).

2008 Porsche 997 Carrera 2

Just put a deposit down on an Aston Martin. Still keeping my Boxster as I could not be without a Porsche. But once all the finances are worked out I’ll PX that for a 997 (hopefully a turbo) next year. Fingers crossed.

Unfortunately both my parents died and I'm selling their house. My father loved British cars and drove Rolls Royces all his life but I know he secretly always wanted as Aston so I'm using his money to get it in a way. I'm sure he'd be happy. Hopefully I can re-arranged some finance with the rest of my share so I can buy another 997 next year (hopefully a turbo). Fingers crossed.

I’ve just dropped the price a bit more to help it sell. I think it’s still under warranty as well. Whoever buys it will be getting a great deal.

Anyway, I’ve put a deposit on a mint condition, approved, DB9 Volante from a Chilton Aston Martin.
