What did you buy your 997 this week?

Had tinting film applied to rear lights of my 997.2. Not normally consider tint. However rear lights take on water! Hope the film stops this. Looks pretty good as well.

Windscreen leak needs doing next. One of the multitude of previous owners had the windscreen replaced. Owner before me had it in to Cameron Porsche (good people) to try fix. Hmm still leaking me thinks unless it's all caused by the drains being blocked with herds of mice.

Off to classic Le Mans soon. Hope it stays dry.

Cheers M

Some of these so I can get it up in air easily👍🏻
Really impressed with how easily it drove up the shallow angle and the fact they're wide enough for tyres.

Pretty simple, just use plenty of liquid to help slide into place. I also used some masking tape as a guide, before removing the old ones. Some useful tips here = http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=103549

Excellent - thank you :)

Yes unfortunately they were expensive, had them from Demon Tweeks, (actually told fib I bought them around Xmas but only tried them out toda) , they are the 2 piece XT67" ones with 10" lift , got another low vehicle so they'll come in handy so that, sort of justifies cost, got under and lubricated Tip gear pivots so that's one job done already. Looked for ages but secondhand ones or discounted ones don't come up.
