Went to a Hotrod show around the corner from me:

Took my boy, aged 5, as my daughter went to her mate's and we were too late to go Banger racing which was the original plan

I was very surprised to see this, my boy spotted it before me, in the camping section:

Anyone on here :dont know:

I really like American pickups and muscle cars, anyone else have.had one :?:

Didn't check the rear of it :wack:

Let's just say yes for the 8) factor :thumb:

I like to think it had one too... it's another excuse to tell the wife just how practical 911's are

If that's the case...YES IT DID :judge:

There was a family of 5 that got out, they had packed for the week and even got the dog on the rear parcel shelf bit

I grew up reading Streetmachine & Custom Car magazines and always dreamed of building a hot rod, but havent done yet.

Nearest I came was back in 2000 I bought a barn find sit up & beg 1950`s Ford Pop with the intention of rodding it. Much to my neighbours delight I had it sitting in the front garden for about 5 years before I realised it was just far too rotten to be of any use as a base car. Ended up selling it for 4 times what I paid to a specialist who stripped it down for spares.

Besides a 1967 Camero or a 1970`s Stingray my favourites used to be 32 Ford Coupe`s or Model Y`s. Used to love the old look of them with something like a big block chevvy in it.

I had a Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4 pick-up for 11 years. Bought it new (1999) when I lived in Canada and shipped it back here in 2005. It was the only "compact" pick-up with a V8 available. 5.2 L 240 horses. Sold it and bought my first Porker in 2010.

Without doubt the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned.

In all the time I had it, I replaced the battery, 4 new tyres, both front hub assemblies, front discs and pads.

First service (oil change)...$28 cdn which in them days was about £10 !
In 1999 the 80 litre fuel tank cost $44 to fill
